INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION

At the stroke of midnight, when the whole world sleeps, India awakes to life and freedom. The spirit of freedom stayed galore as AMES Kids celebrated the 72^nd Independence Day with unprecedented patriotic feelings on 15^th August 2018. The program started with the recitation of the Holy Quran and recital of a naat. The flag was unfurled by the Chief Guest Mrs. Shabana Talib. This was followed by singing the national anthem with full enthusiasm by everyone present. This was trailed by the performance of nursery students who were dressed up as the national symbols. Following this were stellar performances by the students of KG and Prep as they presented patriotic songs and were dressed up as the leaders who were apart of the freedom struggle. The main highlight of the program was the skit “Azad hai Hum” which left the audience spellbound. Later Miss Umaima from KG gave a speech on this occasion mirroring her feelings towards the nation. Various games were also organized for the mothers and light refreshments were served to the students. HM Feroza Ahmed urged the mothers to have a faboulus time and appreciated their willful interest. The winners were felicitated with certificates. She also praised the lovely show put forward by the students and appreciated the teachers for putting in the efforts and making the program a grand success...Lastly the vote of thanks was proposed by Miss Sayeda Ayesha.
