AMES Kids

Hajj Activity at AMES Kids ‘Hajj’ is one of the most important pillar of Islam. To make students realize ‘Hajj’ this activity was conducted at AMES Kids on 23 rd Sept 2015. It was conducted in a Islamic month ‘Zill-Hajja’. This was a Deeniyat activity in which students from prep class participated vivaciously. Through this activity children had some fun learning pillars of faith. This skit was depicted to enhance their knowledge about ‘Hajj’. It was presented in a simple informative style students urged that the ‘Hajj’ is the fifth pillar of Islam. It is the pilgrimage to Mecca during the month of ‘Zill-Hajja’. Different flash cards were displayed by the children to make the viewers aware about the actual experience of hajj. At least once in a lifetime a Muslim is expected to visit a religious journey to Mecca & Kaaba. A M E S K i d s celebrated Salad Day AMES Kids celebrated Salad day on 16 th September 2015 i.e. Wednesday. Teachers explained the importance of fruits & vegetables to inculcate the nutritive values of it. HM Feroza Ahmed laudable the efforts taken by the teachers & students. Students were asked to bring fruits & vegetables.  Class wise different items were prepared like Prep-Fruit salad, K.G & Nursery vegetable sandwich. Students & mothers enthusiastically participated in making different salads & sandwiches. Teachers decorated the salad with different types of creative art. The mouth watering & tempting plates attracted the students & they were eagerly waiting to taste the yummy salads & sandwiches. This new idea of salad day engendered a great pride in students.
